TAJ, PART of The Indian Hotels Company Limited’s (IHCL), has opened their second hotel in Udaipur – Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, at the foothills of the picturesque Aravali Mountain Range, and is conveniently located at just 1 hour from the airport. The resort is spread across 27 acres of lush landscaped gardens.

With the opening of Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, we are enhancing our offering for the global traveller and reinforcing our commitment to Udaipur – the Venice of the East.” The Taj Aravali Resort & Spa boasts of 92 luxurious rooms, suites and tents with panoramic views of the Aravalis. According to a statement by the company, the design is contemporary with a mix of traditional Rajasthani influences and furnishings inspired by Mewar’s world-class equestrian heritage.

On the F&B front, the property has an all-day diner – Tiri; a specialty vegetarian restaurant – Javitri; an alfresco grill – Ridgeview and a bar – Odeypore Lounge. The hotel also has expansive indoor and outdoor banqueting spaces for hosting weddings and conferences. It also houses the Jiva Spa spread over 15,000 sq. ft. with 11 treatment rooms. Additionally, the hotel has extensive recreation facilities such as squash, badminton, basketball and tennis courts, a gymnasium and a state-of-the-art indoor golf simulator. It even boasts of its own 34-seater movie theatre.
